MISSION STATEMENT

The Presbyterian Church of Dunmore, PA has been called by God and organized to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, to minister to the needs of members of the congregation and residents of the community, and to promote peace and justice in the world.

The Dunmore Presbyterian Church Re-opening Plan

On July 19, 2020 we re-opened for in person worship.  Masks are required before, during, & after Sunday Services.  If you forgot yours, please feel free to use the masks, gloves and sanitizer provided by the Session that are found near the entryways.

The bulletins will be on the trays at all entrances.

Garbage cans will be placed at the exit doors for the disposal of masks and gloves and bulletins you don’t wish to take home.

There will not be any ushers or greeters; elders will be available to answer questions, offer assistance, open /close church building.

You will be able to place your offering envelope in the collection plates at the doors of the sanctuary or on Communion Table.

Pews will be closed off in order to social distance during service time. Families from same household will be able to sit together.

The Choir loft door going into Fellowship hall will be taped off. Please use the door on the right side of the pulpit.

Paper towels will be placed inside and outside the restroom doors for you to use when opening the doors.

When the service has ended, go directly to your car.  Please do not gather in groups so that everyone may leave safely with as limited contact as possible.

Communion is now observed on the first Sunday of the month by BYOCE Bring Your Own Communion Elements.

Please keep in mind that if you do not feel comfortable attending worship services, that’s ok, we completely understand.

We pray that future experiences of worship, while awkward, may still be meaningful.  Suggestions are always welcome!
